It was a stellar day in the city yesterday and it would have been crazy not to get out in it. We took the kids down to New Brighton Park which I discovered is a great place for kids to ride their bikes as well as a peaceful place to walk in nature and enjoy the view. The colours of the trees were amazing, so vibrant and full of life. I brought just one lens, my 50mm F1.4 and shot wide open the entire time. The kids did their little part in helping clean up the ocean by pulling out some thick styrofoam pieces covered in mussels. Felt good watching them in their element and taking in the fresh air and warmth of the sun.
