Creative Director

As Owner and Creative Director of Linda Mackie Creative, I oversee, coordinate and collaborate with my creative team to produce the very best work possible for my clients.

In addition to photography, I also provide hair and makeup styling and videography, and website design for my clients that really complement the images we create for them.

I'm so grateful to be able to bring a whole host of tangible and intangible skills, expertise and knowledge that I've garnered over 20+ years of combined experience as a photographer, makeup artsit and creative producer so that I can ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience with results you will love!

Michael Chmara

Videographer, Director + Editor

Meet my talented husband - an award-winning writer, producer, video editor and more recently drone pilot and aerial photographer, whose work in the field of digital media over the last twenty years includes short films, TV series, web series and corporate videos. A storyteller at heart and drawn to stories that educate, inspire and entertain. Coming soon, we are excited to create compelling brand stories, business profile, social media and drone videos to further enhance a total visual branding experience for my clients. Shawn is a very talented and passionate Cinematographer, Photographer, Drone Operator, Compositor, Editor, Colourist, Motion Graphics and Visual Effects Artist! Shawn has worked on several long and short films over the last 20+ years, as well as several diverse projects for a range of clients including Westjet, Island Health, Family Channel, Discovery Channel, Calgary Stampede, ESPN and Jim Shockey's Uncharted: Yukon. We are so humbled and grateful to have Shawn on our team!

With over twenty years of extensive and diverse experience and a holistic approach, Laura infuses everything she knows into each design piece. From ad campaigns to rebranding and everything in between, getting to the bottom of a creative problem and solving it is where she thrives. Her love of well-placed typography, the creative process, a deep understanding of marketing and collaboration results in thought invoking, inspiring, high-impact designs that help my clients take their brand to the highest level!

Makeup, Hair & Wardrobe Stylist

Jen has a wonderful creative flair that she brings to every shoot. And it's no wonder with her varied background in the performing arts as a recording artist and theatre stylist. Her hair and makeup work is flawless and absolutely stunning. With over eleven years as a professional freelance makeup artist, Jen is also the lead makeup and hair stylist for Victoria's Boulevard Magazine and has recently stepped up as wardrobe stylist for the magazine's fashion stories.

Jens down to earth, caring and patient nature make her a true gem and an honour to have on my team.

Erin is artistic and approachable and with over ten years experience as a makeup expert and stylist for the fashion and commercial industries, Her work has been featured in various media and on countless runways and photo shoots. She loves getting to know her clients and whether it's understanding how they envision their makeup or how their clothes and style fit into their lives, Erin strives to build confidence and educate every chance she gets and brings it all together in a fun and easy way. Erin's meticulous attention to detail and kind nature make her a top stylist on my team.

Heather Nightingale

Makeup + Hair Stylist + Educator

Heather is a seasoned makeup and hair artist and educator. With over twenty years in the industry, Heather has worked on countless magazine editorials and styled many notable personalities and celebrities. She is also the manager and head makeup artist educator at the Miss Mack Cosmetics Victoria store, providing guests with pampering sessions and exceptional makeovers. I trust Heather explicity to provide beautifully designed hair and makeup for my clients, and at the same time, sharing helpful tips and tricks in a fun yet professional way.

Andrea Salazar

Makeup + Hair Stylist

Andrea is makeup artistry instructor at the renowned John Casablanca's Institute of Applied Arts. Her fashion and editorial work has been featured in a range of magazines throughout Canada and internationally. Andrea also lends her extensive experience and expertise working with MAC Cosmetics, Mink Makeup & Hair Art, and Charlotte Tilbury, as part of the freelance team in Canada, helping Andrea to stay on top of current trends and mastering looks for every skin tone and face shape. Andrea's work is always on point that best suits my client and their specific needs, and she is super fun and easy to work with!
